Barbara Churchill
President
Barbara Churchill Bio
I have been a member of OLL since 2000 when I married Bob Churchill. My son David (2004) and daughter Emily (2008) graduated from CCS (Columbia Catholic School) and then both attended Helias in Jefferson City as Fr Tolton was not yet built. I was born and raised in Marshall and entered the U.S. Army in 1976. I retired from the Army 25 years ago and came back to Mid-Missouri. When my children were students at CCS I was on Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Council, CCS Home & School Association, and CCS School Board (being President of each during my tenure). I have been the OLL/CCS representative on the Diocesan Excellence in Education Fund (DEEF) under Bishop Gaydos. I am currently a member of the Women of Lourdes and Cursillista. My Cursillo prayer group, along with 7 other amazing OLL women, meet weekly at 7:30 on Saturday morning. I participate in the following ministries -- Reader, Head Eucharistic Minister, and Eucharistic Minister. In support of OLL Oktoberfest, I was in charge of the Prize Booth from 2003 - 2021. Outside of church, I am a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Columbia. I am currently the President of the General Omar N. Bradley Mid-Missouri Chapter of the Military Officer Association of America (MOAA) and am active in supporting veterans in the Boone County and Mid-Missouri area. I am a member of the Worship, Spiritual, and Liturgy (WSL) Commission.

John Cleek Bio
My name is John Cleek, Jr. and I have been a member of Our Lady of Lourdes for the past 31 years. I first attended as a Non-Catholic for the first 20 years and then I went through the RCIA program and became a Catholic in 2014. I have been a very active member of the church serving as a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion, marriage preparation facilitator, Knights of Columbus member, and I'm a regular on the BBQ grill team at special events. In my new role on the Pastoral Council I hope to add some experience at fundraising opportunities for the church as I have helped raise a lot of money for many worthwhile charitable organizations including EasterSeals Midwest, Special Olympics, The Food Bank, and Tolton Catholic High School. I am the President/Owner of Cleek's Inc. and our family business has been serving Mid-Missouri since 1956. I am married to my wife, Heather, and we have 3 adult children who are all still active in the faith, Johnny (Renee) - 3 grandkids (Rhett, Rex, and Scarlett), Mary (Aidan) - 2 grandkids (Kolbe and Leo), and Thomas. Heather also helps with the Giving Tree at Christmas, bakes brownies for the Knights of Columbus fish fries, and joins me as a marriage preparation facilitator. It is my honor to be on the Pastoral Council and I look forward to serving and doing what I can to help out.
