Ministry Schedule
"There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens." - Ecclesiastes 3:1
Current Ministry Schedules
The following links open "read-only" versions of the schedule for each category (allows quick checking of assignments).
- Regular Sunday Masses (also includes Feasts like Easter Sunday which fall on / supersede a normal Sunday)
- Holy Days / Special Masses (if any present during current schedule or beginning of next schedule)
To sign up for a ministry shttps://www.rotundasoftware.com/ministry/ourladyoflourdes/schedules/826452lot or to request a sub, login by clicking on the MSP image below.
Requesting Substitutes
If a minister submits vacation dates before the deadline included in each Newsletter (see Ministry Schedule Files section), then the requested dates will be skipped when assigning slots. Once a minister is assigned to a specific slot, however, the responsibility for that assignment rests with the minister until a substitute is confirmed (see below).
If a replacement must be found:
More than 2 Days Prior – Login to MSP, click “My Schedule” tab, locate date/assignment in question and click “request sub”.
Less than 2 Days Prior – Login to MSP, click “Roster” tab, click Phone List link and contact minister(s) to arrange coverage for the slot.
Important Reminders
- Most ministers are willing to sub / swap if given reasonable warning. If you have a change in family plans near the beginning of the week, you're likely to find help for the coming weekend if you request a sub promptly. Some families arrange "co-ops" where they call each other first, thereby making the sub / swap process faster in emergency situations.
- Don't rely on automated sub requests if time is short. The shorter the notice, the less time the schedule server has to process a request before a given Mass occurs, depending on internet traffic, server maintenance, and other factors. Keep a short list of folks in mind who serve at your regular Mass time, that way phone calls are easier to make when needed.
- Coverage isn't valid until confirmation is received. Until you actually receive confirmation that another minister accepted your request for substitution (via the scheduling program itself, email, phone call, text, etc.), you are still responsible for the slot in question. If nobody accepts your substitution request and/or the Director of Liturgy is not informed of the change (only automatic if processed through the scheduling program), you will be considered absent from the slot in question. If you arranged for a sub at the last minute in person (e.g. sudden illness after you reach church), please email the Director of Liturgy in the next few days so that this can noted / updated in the system.
Ministry Schedule Files
The following .PDF files are normally sent via email when each new schedule is released. They are also provided here for the benefit of ministers who need separate access due to a misplaced schedule email, corrupted .PDF file, etc.
Schedules (All Ministers)
Ministers are normally scheduled in two month blocks for weekend Masses only, as family schedules may vary for Christmas, Holy Week or various mid-week Feasts. Therefore, the schedules below reflect the regular weekend Mass times for the period indicated.
(To view and/or volunteer for any Holy Days / Special Masses,
please login by clicking on the MSP image on this page.)

- 2025C Sept-Oct Schedule - by Weekend Mass (.PDF file)
Some items / events associated with the schedule require additional explanation. Further, important information such as the deadline for vacation dates, changes in procedures, etc. cannot be easily embedded in the schedule. Therefore, a Newsletter is included with each new schedule to provide this type of information. Please review this document carefully, as each minister is responsible for its contents.
To view and/or hear on-line versions of the readings, login to MSP, click on the "My Schedules" tab and then click on the name / date of a Mass in the web terminal. The resulting Service Plan view allows you to select a printed copy or an audio copy of the readings (great for confirming pronunciations!). In addition, you can access the readings directly at the USCCB web site.
All liturgical ministry assignments are scheduled via the MSP program, thereby allowing everyone to access their slots on-line, find substitutes easily, check on Holy Day scheduling, etc. However, the MSP program cannot schedule / track certain music-related data for each period, so this information is provided separately.
