Giving Tree Program – 2025
The Giving Tree is a program that helps disadvantaged families, shut-ins, and Woodhaven residents through our parishioners. Every Christmas, the parishioners at Our Lady of Lourdes purchase Christmas presents and donate food for these families and individuals.
The schedule for this year’s program is as follows:
Nov 8 & 9: Signup sheets will be in Flanagan Hall for parishioners to volunteer for this program.
Nov. 15 & 16: Giving Tree gift tags will be available in Flanagan Hall after all the Masses for parishioners to select.
Nov. 22 & 23: Giving Tree gift tags will be available in Flanagan Hall after all the Masses for parishioners to select. Volunteers will be on hand in Flanagan Hall to check-in gifts that are being returned.
Nov. 29 & Nov. 30: ALL GIFTS ARE DUE BACK. RETURN THEM BEFORE OR AFTER ANY WEEKEND MASS.
December 5 (Friday) at 7:00 PM in Flanagan Hall, volunteers will assemble gifts and food items for the shut-ins.
December 6 (Saturday) at 9:00 AM in Flanagan Hall, volunteers will deliver the gifts and food items to the shut-ins.
December 8 (Monday) at 9:00 AM in Flanagan Hall, volunteers will be needed to assemble the gifts for the families.
Any gift tags not chosen, or gifts not returned by the due date (November 29 & November 30th) must be purchased from parish funds. So please be generous and on time, as you were last year. If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Wilcox at (573-881-8623).
