Religious Education and Youth Ministry Programs

We are in need of many wonderful adults to walk with our precious treasures throughout their faith journeys through our many programs.* Please consider being a part of this incredible team by selecting from the following options:

EDGE is a tri-parish middle school youth ministry group that meets on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm in Flanagan Hall. Be a CORE Team member and assist in person as a small group leader, give talks, or volunteer to bring snacks and help celebrate birthdays.

LifeTeen is a tri-parish high school youth ministry group that meets on Sundays from 6:45-8:30 pm at Sacred Heart’s Education Building. Be a CORE Team member, assist in person, give talks, or volunteer to provide a home-cooked meal to our hungry kiddos. Contact Anne Lim at anne@comonewman.org

Confirmation for our 7th-9th Grade public, private, and homeschooled students. (OLLIS students receive their formation in school). Be a CORE Team member and assist in person as a small group leader, give talks, or volunteer to bring snacks and help celebrate birthdays. We meet on Sundays from 3-4:30pm.

Religious Education is in need of teachers and classroom assistants for their Pre-K through 6th-grade classes. Choose which day is best for you, Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm or Sundays from 9:30-11:00 am. Training and materials are supplied, you bring the Holy Spirit, and the work is done and fun!

Saints in Training and Saint for a Day programs are looking for volunteers 6th grade and above to walk with our Pre-K through 5th graders. Saints in Training is a tri-parish monthly event filled with activities, snacks, crafts, games, and prayer before the Blessed Eucharist. There are also a few full-day “Saint for a Day” programs when schools are out of session. Check our website for more specific dates.
*Adult volunteers must be Virtus Compliant.
Coffee, Food, and Fellowship Volunteer Signup
